Les Etalons vont se préparer à Abou Dhabi aux Emirats Arabes pour la CAN "ivoirienne" et devraient jouer au moins deux matchs amicaux.
Un mini-tournoi de préparation entre le Nigeria, la RD Congo et le Burkina Faso serait dans les tuyaux en début d'année en prévision de la CAN 2023.
Si ce tournoi est avéré comme le citent plusieurs medias nigérians,les poulains de Hubert Velud vont croiser le Nigéria et la RDC dans un mini tournoi aux Emirats arabes avant de ralier Bouaké pour la phase de poule de la CAN.
Deux matchs seraient en vue donc : Burkina Faso vs Nigeria et Burkina Faso vs RDC..
La Guinée Conakry qui devrait être à Abou Dhabi aussi pourrait peut être se joindre au tournoi mais cela reste à confirmer.
De son côté, la FBF n’a fait aucune communication de nature à confirmer aucun de ces matchs pour l'instant.

Le stage des Etalons devrait débuter le 28 Décembre directement aux Emirats Arabes.
