L’Erythréen Habteab Yoel, de la Team Bike Aid est le maillot jaune du Tour du Bénin 2024 à l'issue de la 3ème étape courue entre Djidja et Athiémé (113 Km). Il devance de 3 secondes Lagab Azzedine d'Algérie.

La première victoire d’une équipe européenne sur le Tour cycliste international du Bénin 2024 a été remportée au sprint par le français Victor Lebon de l’équipe Team Bon’Heures. Le coureur a avalé les 113 Km de cette 3e étape entre Djidja et Athiémé, en 2h 44min 34sec soit une vitesse moyenne de 41, 49 Km/h. Il est suivi de l’Algérien Islam Mansouri et du Burkinabè Wahabou Bouda.

Le tour se poursuit ce vendredi 3 mai avec la quatrième étape entre Ouinhi et Porto-Novo, longue de 97 km. C'est aussi la plus petite distance du tour du Bénin 2024.
